Land use and land cover surveys

Vides eksperti carries out land cover/land use and pollution surveys in the Baltic States. The survey points can be located in all types of land cover (arable land, grassland, woodland, water, built-up areas, transport networks, etc.) and are surveyed by specially trained experts who determine the type of land cover and land use, grassland parameters, the presence of drainage, structural elements in the landscape and other parameters. Topsoil samples may also be taken at the survey points for further analysis in the laboratory.
